Ovary removal during early pregnany?

So, I just found out I am a few weeks pregnant (going to get a blood test today to find out exactly how long) and at the same time the doctors discovered I had an 8cm cyst on my right ovary. I went into surgery and the ovary was removed by larascopically removal. I am wondering now if the baby Is ok? Has anyone else had an ovary removed in very early pregnancy? Thank you!

Hello, I had a 6 cm cyst surgicaly removed at 15 weeks pregnant. I am now 29 weeks and doing great! Once it was removed my baby actually had room to grow and move. Hope all goes smoothly for you and your lil bean!

lol I also had most of my ovary removed during the surgery as the cyst was so large it had streched most of the ovary.
