can i have a baby with epilepsy

Dear WebMD, i'm hoping for some good news. i'm 38 years old and suffer with epilepsy and is taking Tegretol 400mg to control my fit, i haven't had a seizure in almost 3 years now. i want to get pregnant, can i get pregnant and have a healthy baby with epilepsy?

have this as well and the safest meds to take is keppra. im still able to breastfeed as well. oh and i take 1500mg 2x a day.
talk with your doctor about this opition.

and my little boy was very healthy
