Make sure that you wipe yourself down really well from front to back when they have you use those wipes just before collecting your urine sample. Then pee in the toilet for a little bit first and then pee in the cup. This should help you successfully capture a clean catch urine sample. I am sure there are plenty of women who have not been successful at this particular thing. Try my step by step instructions and if you are still having problems getting a successful clean catch sample talk to your doctor about some tips. You never know they might have some interesting thoughts on the matter that the general public would not think of. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I actually asked my NP about this the other day, and apparently the machine they use to process the clean catch is "too sensitive" and has resulted in "everyone" having contaminated samples. Maybe she was pulling my leg, but I'm choosing to believe it.
