Sex question (probly TMI)
sweets1988 posted:
alright is anyone else having sexual issues? I'm 23 weeks prego and for about 4 weeks or more i have come ( or lack there of! ) to notice that my sex drive has evaporated and my G-spot ran off with it! i have never had this issue, even with my first pregnancy. In fact when i was prego with my daughter i was always switched on...

but this time round nothing gets me going... we've tried watching porn together, all sorts of foreplay, the kama sutra for pregnancy falls flat... i mean for a few weeks not i couldnt even do the job myself! i feel like suck a failure! i mean if i cant even please myself how can i expect my poor husband get me going? and when we try i know it hurts him because he thinks its all his fault! that somethings wrong with him no matter how i try to explain... and the few off chances that it starts feeling good something hurts, i get a cramp or our daughter wakes up!

ive been catching myself getting depressed because of it. i mean i cant help but feel broken and stressed. it used to be the best way to de-stress me and now its even more stressful because i worry i will fail again when we try.

any ideas ladies? or anyone else need to vent? i just dont wanna be alone ;_;

Hello, I was just lurking from 3rd trimester and seen this thought id let ya know you are not alone! They say every pregnacy with every women is different some women get completley obsessed with sex while others dont want anything to do with it. Since ive been pregnant and this is my first ive had no drive my DH and i were falling apart from it, it comes and goes but most of the time that drive is gone but he is a little more understanding now! i wish ya luck and hopefully things get better!! i went through the depression with it because it was just very hard to deal with not being as close as you want to be just keep in mind yer body is prolly in full gear for the baby and not worried about whats done to make another! hope me sharing helped ya a little atleast not feel so alone! :)

Hey Sweets1988- I am right there with you!!!
When I was pregnant with my son I was always in the mood for sex, everything felt better, it was more fun and I couldn't get enough of it. This time around I want nothing to do with it, I don't even want to be looked at like that from my hubby and I feel terrible! I have tried to explain to him that it isn't him at all and that I still find him very sexy it's just that my body doesn't want it at all. I still try to have sex with him every time he is home (he is a firefighter and gone a lot) It's nice when he isn't home because I don't feel bad not wanting it. I know that must sound terrible but I just can't get into the mood. I have also tried different things and even using my toys isn't working! I hope it will pass and I hope that once this baby is born my drive will come back. Good luck to you and know you aren't alone at all!

I had this same issue for what seemed like forever with this pregnancy, but somehow, magically, last week (at 25 weeks), my sex drive came back with a vengance! I am sure my husband couldnt be happier, and I am quite relieved too, as I felt terrible just as all of you did, not ever wanting to have sex. Hoping that you experience the return of your sex drive also soon! Good luck!
