    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

So I went in for my 24 week appt today (actually I'm 23w4d, but who's counting), and my doctor said baby is measuring big. Fundal height was 26cm and from what I read, at 24 weeks it should be 24cm. My last u/s 4 weeks ago also said baby's measuring big, but my Dr. didn't seem too concerned then. He still doesn't, but he did say I need to "tune up" my diet. D'oh! Did he just call me fat? LOL

I go in for my GD test and also a followup test for my thyroid med in about 3 weeks, so I guess we'll see if that has anything to do with it. I wonder if I start following the GD diet now if it'll have any impact. Anyone else had this happen? Or am I just being a worrywart?

    Howdy Janet!

My son measured big his entire pregnancy. He is now 6'4" so that was the reason!

Since your doctor mentioned tuning up your diet, why not take a look at this article on Healthy Pregnancy Diet ? You can also check out What Not to Eat during pregnancy might be helpful, too.

I hope all your tests come back normal. Hopefully someone else will jump in and share their story, too.

My baby has been measuring further along as well. My dh is a giant, so I'm blaming him. :)
