    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

I am a second time mom and 26 weeks...
What is the rule of thumb for fetal movement? I know every baby is different however... my usually pretty active baby seems pretty sluggish today. I have felt him periodically throughout the day- just not like usual. I know at 28 weeks they say 10 times per hour... is that the same at 26 weeks if you have pretty regular movement?

That sounds about right - don't forget babies do nap frequently and are usually " rocked " to sleep with your running around . If you are thinking the baby is moving a lot less I would drink some OJ and lay on your left side and then count for an hour and see if the LO moves 10 times ... If you are still worried I would maybe call your OB and they should be able to get you in to check on LO : ) Hop that helps
