Any helpful advice while me & my new BFF (the couch) are hanging out? I have a 5yr old son and he is starting kindergarten! Excited about that but he doesn't undersand why mommy can't go outside and play with him

I don't really have any advice as I haven't been through that. But maybe you could designate a certain time each day and play a board game together or something like that that doesn't require a lot of activity on your part.

Good luck though, I couldn't imagine!

I was put on bedrest during my second pregnancy for IUGR. It's hard with another kiddo running around. My husband wasn't home and I was alone with our, at the time, 2 1/2 year old. I would lay around all day too, but when it came time for my son to play, I would lay around on the floor and play trucks or do a puzzle with him. Low key activity so that he wasn't bored out of his mind and feeling neglected. Good luck! I know it's no fun, but it's for a reason.
