I'm 23 weeks pregnant (and 2 days to be exact). Everyday I have breakfast brunch lunch snack dinner and fruit before bed. Today I did my breakfast and brunch and was cleaning and got super hot, broke into a cold sweat, jittery, lightheaded... like one would get if they hadn't eaten. I stopped what I was doing, went down had a snack (or 2 or 3). Started feeling better. Then husband brought me home lunch (5 soft tacos..disgusting I know and I'm only 140lbs pregnant right now!). Now I am starting to feel like I haven't eaten again. I took my bp and it was 111/60 (kinda low for me, my usual now is 128/80). I just feel lethargic and yuck. Should I try to get into my doc or just keep stuffing my face ?

Call your doctor and see what he/she says. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

If you eat foods like pasta, potatoes, rice they are quick energy foods and don't stay with you for long making you hungry again. Try eating foods that will stay with you longer.

Sometimes your body will say it's hungry when you are actually thirsty so try drinking a glass of water first and see if that helps.
