My baby girls are here!!! Born 12:17p and 12:37pm Aug 2.

I went in for my induction this morning. Doctor had an emergency c/s so they didn't start pitocin until 845am. But by 1145a I was ready to push. So it went really quick. My nurse was awesome that she got me my epi before any real contractions started. She wanted it in place since I was already 3-4 when I came in. I got moved to the OR (standard for twin births) at noon. Pushed Baby A (Allie) out at 12:17p. Baby B decided to be difficult and immediately turned breech! UGH so the doctor tried to turn her but no luck. The doctor had to perform a c/s for Baby B (Maddie). It wasn't bad at all. The recovery so far has fairly easy. I do have some pain meds in my system that will wear out tomorrow morning. But I have already gotten up and am sitting up now. The babies are doing great. They did monitor Maddie for a couple hours but she never needed assistance. Allie is 5lbs 15ozs and 18" long. Apgar 9/9. Maddie is 6lbs 9ozs and 19" long with apgar of 7/9. They are both in the room with us now and doing great! :)
