    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Short: Truman Sinclair arrived 4/9/11 at 11:34p, weighing 6lbs 13ozs, 20 in long.

Long: I was supposed to be induced at 6am on Friday but the hospital was full! So we were bumped to the 9th. We went in and started with 1/2 cytotech and meds for GBS. A few hours and what felt like a thousand walks later, I was given 1/4 cytotech another dose of meds for GBS and I was registering at 3cm and 80% eff. Once the second bag of meds were in my system, they broke my water and active labor started without the need for pit, hooray! Well a few hours later I felt the peaky contractions coming every two mins or so and got my epi. What a relief! A few hours later I could feel that pressure and urge to push and sure enough I was at 10cm. I pushed just three times and he was born. He is my smallest little guy despite having been the longest to "cook". He is doing great except he seems to have days and nights confused. Nursing well and keeping up okay given my milk is coming in, ouch. I am doing fine aside from a little engorgement.

Thanks for your support all this time ladies and I'll lurk for awhile cheering you on :)
