Appt Update

Had my 36w appt today and they start checking me as well. I know it's nothing to get my hopes up about but I'm 1.5cm but baby is still up high, although head down. Now to work on getting things going. Haha. Well anytime after next Thursday so I atleast hit full term.

I know it's nothing to get my hopes up about but I'm 1.5cm but baby is still up high, although head down. Now to work on getting things going. Haha. Well anytime after next Thursday so I atleast hit full term.

Ahhh I feel your pain! At my 36 and 37 week appt I was 1 cm dilated. Cervix still VERY high up there, not effaced at all! At my 37 week appt she did start to come down a bit, now she's at -1 station so we're getting there! Thought I was going into labor on Saturday as I had ALL the same symptoms as I did with my son (except I haven't lost my plug yet). To be honest I was glad I woke up still pregnant and feeling better. She can stay put this week and then make her entrance in to the world

However with all that action on Saturday I hope I've made some progress! If I did, I'm going to thank the pineapples for that. Everytime I eat them while pregnant (close to my due date of course) they stir things up down there! hee hee!

I'd like him to cook a little more too since my mother is coming down for the weekend and honestly I'd prefer her not to be there. Not meaning to offend anyone, but she's a nurse who is never "off duty" and tends to meddle in things she doesn't need to. So it's best if she's not around... And this is my last pregnancy. I'm going to miss being pregnant

Now as for the pineapple...I'm going to have to try that!
Here's fingers crossed for these babies coming exactly when we want them!

I'd like him to cook a little more too since my mother is coming down for the weekend and honestly I'd prefer her not to be there. Now I'm trying to decide if I should snack on pineapple this week. Work is making me NUTS! I'm a RN on a cardiac/stroke floor and it has been a rough week. Wouldn't mind starting maternity leave sooner! Lol! However, my midwife is off till Friday the 15th

She delivered my DS and I'm kind of attached to her. This is also my last pregnancy and I really want her there. hee hee! SOOO not sure what to do...

Did the pineapple help anybody else out?
