Hi All

I delivered my DS2 on June 11 2012 via successful VBAC
He las LPT born 36 w and 5 days and was weighing 6 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches long .

My water broke on SUnday (06-10-12)night around 10:30 PM and i had no signs of labor before not evenb braxton hicks and infact my friday ( 06-08-10) U/s said my cervix is 0 % effaced and -2 station on baby facoing up and so my OB didnot even do a internal exam but by the time we went to the hospital around 11:30 my contractions came 2 mins apart and I was 75% effaced and -2 station and 3 cm dilated

It started to get worst and around 3:30 PM i was 5cm dilated and 75 % effaced and still -2 but couldn't handle without epidural as my contractions were back to back and I was tired throwing up and inbetween had my insulin shots as well so i hand my epidural around 4:30 AM and then by that time i wa 7cm dilated and 90 % effaced and 0 station and the baby magically turned facing rear and by 8:00 AM i was 10 cm dilated and started pushing around 8:15 .had practise pushes around 15 mins and exactly at 9:00 AM my DS was born .had 2n degree tear but the epidural helped a lot for me to relax during the last 3 hrs and I had to energy to push at the end and it was so easy .so finally I had a sucessful VBAC and experience the labor for the firsttime
DS and me came home yesterday and settling in

Congratulations sumis!

I wonder what he would have weighed if you made it to 40 weeks, I'm guessing he would have been a big boy!

You are an inspiration to others hoping for a VBAC, so glad you had such a great experience.

Remember to check in over on Baby's First Year Community to meet up with other June mommies for support and to keep in touch.

Best Wishes and Many Blessings,
Elizabeth
