Failed One Hour Glucose Test

Today I went in for my one hour glucose test ( didn't eat for the reccomended time and only drank water) and I just got a call saying I failed it and that they're mailing me a 3 day diet to go by and on the 4th day I have to go in for a 3 hour test.

I'm also at the peak of having a pretty bad cold and I was actually wondering if that could have caused me to fail the test?

From what I understand being sick can cause your blood sugars to be high. At least that is what my SIL, who's a nurse, told me. Talk to your doctor about the fact that you are feeling sick.
