    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

im needing some info from moms that have had back labor. im trying to understand back labor and how you can tell anything about contractions while having it. when in back labor do you still feel regular contractions in front? also if not, how do you time them? i am 40 weeks and at 4 cent now, i was checked yesterday and given another membrain sweep to try and get things going, my doctor is saying that the baby has been in place and seems ready but i was getting no contractions to get labor started. this morning i woke up with horrible painful low back pain, not regular pain in this area we usually get. it goes down my back into the back of my legs and the pain almost seems to burn. am i having back labor? its a constant pain so i cant really time anything, how can you really tell?
