So on Friday I spent alllll day sorting through baby gifts and baby clothes. Stored away any thing from 6mo + and hung everything up up until 6mo. Started washing the clothes then figured out that I don't have enough closet space (which I figured I wouldn't) and I don't have the dresser yet! So today DH and I went and ordered the dresser and changing table and picke dup a few other little things for organization/storage. Unfortunately he is going to have to tell his mother to STOP buying clothes because I no longer have any place to put them! I've already done one load of laundry and I probably have a good 2-3 more loads left to do once we get the dresser in!

I hear you, I just had my first baby shower, and made out really well, thanks to all of the wonderful people in my life. The other day I had this huge burst of energy and put all of it away, and started re-arranging things. It's so much fun to prepare, isn't it?

My baby shower is the 13th!!! I am SOOOOO excited! takarah and I have already started recieving gifts from those who wont be able to make the shower. I have already learned... Keep all gift reciepts organized!!! That way if I get 20 packs of size 1 diapers I can return some for size2 and so forth!!! 8 weeks to go!!!

A friend of mine advised me as far as diapers are concened to put several brands on your registry because most stores will exchange anything you put on your registry. Babies R Us will inparticular

My biggest thing about sorting through all our baby junk is that I'll get it all situated, then get bored, or realize that I could organize it a little better, and then all of a sudden it's all over the room again and I'm redoing everything.

It's a lot harder now with the little one here finally, but hopefully this will be the last time I need to do this.

If you have a lot of stuff that is less than 6 mos. You might consider not taking tags off and washing it all. LO will probably not get a chance to wear it all before growing too much. You can always exchange for a bigger size or wash more later if lo stays small enough. Also every brand is different. For example, if you have something from Carters that is 3 mos it will be big, but if you have something that is baby gap or ralph lauren for example, it will be small. Its better to look at the weight.

Would hate for LO to miss looking really cute in something bc of size.

    Good luck!!
    Counting the days til October!!
