After prostate surgey problems
gibbler123 posted:
Just wondering if anyone had their prostate taken out and had radiation treatment for prostate cancer develope adhesions after ..If so what if any treatment did you have...I have severe pain..Any advice ...
kalmes responded:
yes, had radical prostatectomy in '02 and radiation for 35 days in '03. No problems until 2011, with PSA showing up from 0.01 for 8 years but now, in three months, from 4 to 6 to 17. Will begin Lupron shots (3 per year) and Cassadex (2 pills daily). Confident that it will be helpful. No other side effects except urinary incontinence since the surgery. Better than having cancer but not very convenient with daily living (I'm over 75 now). Anybody else with similar situation???
