Reoccurring cancer/ rising PSA

Had radiation in 2005. Never had a Nadir below 1.4. PSA has gone up slowly until last one was 9.1. If it keeps going up I guess hormone therapy will be suggested by doctor. Does anyone have any ideas what the future is not doing the hormone vs doing them. How quickly does the PSA normally go up w/o hormone therapy. It took seven year to have it go up to where it was last PSA in October. I get another next week. I usually get one every four months.

Thanks
