Your dad must understand that his diagnosis is not a death sentence. There are many treatment options available, and he should research all of them before committing to a particular one. Most prostate cancers are slow growing, so there is no need for a quick decision. And don't rely on one doctor's recommendation. They usually have a specific preference for one option.
