I have a picky eater!

I have a 7 yr old daughter, her diet is becoming more and more limited. If she could eat chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers for every meal she would.

She does eat a wide variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, but main dishes are our problem. If I make a pasta dish (even spaghetti and sauce), grilled chicken, pot roast, pork roast or fish, she won't touch it or even try it!

She used to eat and at least try everything.

Any suggestions?

our rule has always been TRY ONE BITE. If you don't like it, you don't have to eat it.

Even when we're having what she has already tried and already decided she doesn't like... the rule of the house is, take at least one bite. 9 times out of 10 she actually likes it.

I always made samples for my ground children to let them taste the small bite of food first. I think this way is more attractive to kids.
