Too Much TV May Raise Kids? Future Heart Risk

A new study shows that kids with lots of screen time (TV, Computer) have narrow arteries in the eyes that may indicate heart risk.

Another great justification for turning off the TV and getting active!

This is another study that reinforces the idea of inactivity being a major risk factor. The scary part to me is that young kids are already showing blood vessel changes and that the injury is not just related to years and years of inactivity.

I am curious if the blood vessel changes are reversible. That would be a great follow-up study.

I can't imagine paying for my kid to be plopped in front of the TV! (that's my job - ha, ha)
