Spending time with family during the holidays can be difficult, but there are ways to help keep it more positive. For instance, you can keep your expectations realisitic, accept that you cannot control others but can control how you respond to them, and plan ahead for mutual support with a family member who is your ally. Of course, it also helps to remember all that you have to be grateful for.
