It might sound cliche, but so many couples I know fight because they don't actually say what they are thinking or feeling because they assume the other doesn't want to hear it. Once those lines of communication are open, so much can be accomplished productively in a relationship.

You are so right!!! So many divorces today, are caused by just that. No communication! Perhaps this subject should be taught in school? Many a war has been started due to a lack of communication. We, as human beings, need to master the art of communication!!!

Totally agree. Remember folks (and I need to remind myself of this constantly as well) that a very important part of communication is being a good listener. Really focusing on what the other person is trying to communicate can help the other person feel more heard too. Now.... I'm off to practice that!
