Actemra for RA - Had terrible side effects

Has anyone else had trouble using Actemra? I had three treatments, the last being August 2011. I had terrible side effects with it, I lost my appetite to the point that I lost 64 lbs. in 4 months, I lost my strength, extremely tired. I have had trouble with my bowels, terrible taste in my mouth - between salty or bitter. I am not the man that I use to be. My Dr. said if I had one more treatment, it probably would have killed me. It seems to have also effected my memory and my mental health. I have recovered some, but I don't know if I will ever fully recover. I have gained 4 lbs. so far.

I have had three treatments of the Actemra and it has actually made me gain 30 pounds since I started it. I too have had trouble with my bowels.

I have been on Actemra since the last clinical trial. Since this past February I have had horrible stomach issues. Whenever I eat something my stomach balloons out. I have also had horrible hormone issues. No Doc can seem to help. I wonder if the stomach issues are from the Actemra. I am at the highest does. I have not eaten solid food since Saturday. I am at a loss. It is working wonders for my RA. Urgh.
