Does orencia self injectable trigger diabetic?

I've been on Orencia self injectable for 5 months now. Prescription warning said not to use the medication if user has diabetic. My family has history of diabetic. I was also diagnosted with gestational diabetic when I was carrying my child 12 years ago. My glucose level went back to normal after delivery. I talked to my RA doctor, but he said not to be concerned. Should I be concern about this medicine triggering diabetic?

I also take plaquenil, meloxicam, and prednisone daily.

Presnisone can increae the risk of diabetes due to the medication. The sugars typically improve off prednisone unless there is significant weight gain causing an increased level. I am not aware of Orencia increasing risk of diabetes but diabetics taking Orencia may have an increased risk of infection.
