I am going to be 59 in a few months and have had RA for 12 years. I'm getting an Orencia infusion once a month. I'm wondering about getting the Shingles vaccine. I did have Chicken Pox as a child and I remember that my mother had frequent shingle breakouts that were extrememly painful. Is this vaccine live? Is it a problem getting the Shingles vaccine when you have an auto-immune disease?
