    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    How Long
    RADBA3317 posted:
How long has everyone been on MTX??

How long after starting MTX did you lose your hair?

    Thanks in advance!
    MrsAddka responded:
I cannot remember after how long it started with MTX but after 4 or 5 months of taking Leflunomid I started losing my hair very heavily and it didn?t stop even after 3 and half months of not taking it
    RADBA3317 replied to MrsAddka's response:
    Sorry, is it better now?
    xperky responded:
Only 3 weeks for me. I was reading somewhere that 1 out of 1000 gets hair loss from mtx. Tragic when it happens, I'm sure.

    Denise, are you losing hair?
    blugixxer6 responded:
Been on MTX 7 months and no noticable hair loss so far
    RADBA3317 replied to xperky's response:
Nothing noticeable. I haven't been on it very long, November 2nd was my first dose at 2.5mg/piece.
