Elbow pain
pamzd posted:
Hi! I was diagnosed almost three years ago with RA, and it is considered low grade RA. I have been on plaquenil and until last month was taking subq injections of Methotrexate. I have found that since they took me off the metho my elbow has been bothering me for at least 1 - 2 hours in the morning and at different times during the day. Has anyone had this kind of pain where every boney area of your elbow can't rest on anything without pain? When its hurting if I unexpectedly turn my elbow certain ways it feels like I am fracturing my arm. . . it hurts that bad. Just curious. They have given me Voltaren gel to put on it for now.

My metatarsal foot bones do that in bed and I can't lay them on the mattress. It is that sharp, broken bone type pain too. I also have RA along with FM, and I believe it is the RA when it's sharp, joint pain. Is your elbow red or swollen too?

I have the same type of elbow pain, started as a clicking when I I was cleaning, advanced into a tenderness, which hurts when I rest my elbows on anything firm. Resistance against the joint also hurts.

My right elbow gets so sore I can't stretch to turn on a light. Had an X-ray and have a bone spur. I have osteo and rheumatoid in that joint
