I've been taking oral mtx after being recently diagnosed, and have experienced GI problems as a result. I've read comments here from Dr. Yashin, etc. regarding subcutaneous mtx being a better option as far as side effects and absorption. Apparently there is going to be a mtx autoinjector available in January (I copied the article below). Has anyone heard of this? I realize it will cost more than oral mtx, but if it works better...
