    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

I do not know what is wrong with me

hello, it seems i have a similar problem to Nkotbstillrocks72 .
for the past 11 months i have been having hallucinations, hearing voices in my head, and nightmares. they are so bad that often i cannot tell what is real and what is not. i often end up talking to people that i think are real, but they are not.
ive seen 4 different pshychiatrists and other mental health professionals, but they all dont believe me, so they do not give me any medicine at all. they did a test for schizophrenia, but they said i do not have it.
i do not know what to do, i can barely drive my car and study, because the hallucinations are so intense and they mess me up so much.

Were you able to get help before things worsened? It's a shame that no one was helping you.

I was in a similar situation, but I had to go into the emergency psych ward, otherwise, I'd probably still be wandering the streets...
