Hooray for August!

Tomorrow, August 2, is Savannah's birthday! What should we do?

My mom says to make her a tuna cake and invite her friends over. I don't think she means feline friends -- cats aren't herd animals.

So I'm inviting my friends over. (I know this seems stupid and silly, the kind of dumb that people post to facebook over, but still) Who would like to come over and celebrate my little one's 3rd birthday?

P and I would love to come! She loves cats, just like I do, and is very gentle with them. She would love to bring a bag full of cat treats and feed them to Savannah. Does Savannah like the crunchy or the chewy cat treats?

I'm bringing the laser toy so she can get some serious playing in while we celebrate her birthday!

I want to come. Can I bring my cats? Odin & Loki are friendly - if a little boisterous. We'll bring their favorite toys, little balls with bells on the inside so they make noises when they bat them around.

Everyone can come. Savvy will be very happy with the toys. And as for treats? She likes them, crunchy or soft. They just can't be too big, otherwise you have to break them up and give her little nibbles. I'm sure she'd appreciate the company.

Happy birthday, Savannah! You're an extremely lucky kitty to have a mommy who loves you so much! I hope the two of you have a great day.

BTW, every cat I have ever had has either liked the chewy or the crunchy treats and will turn down the others. I didn't think there were cats out there who liked both!

Hey Kate, my younger son just recently got a second cat and named her 'Loki'. And she really is mischievous.

Just so everyone is aware of her denial, Savannah is still insisting she's a kitten. Currently, she is pawing through my gym bag. She is always into everything!!

Too Cute!! My cats deny they are 4. I believe all cats think they are kittens until they hit old age.
