It's been suggested that we leave a space between the start of a post and the triggering part.

Write something innocuous in the first line. then leave some spaces between in and the subject matter. this should take care of accidentally triggering someone.

So here's me, having my little meltdown because my friends and family are so disgustingly happy and I can't handle it....

And I one friend, who had just recently become pregnant, is miscarrying today. I'm checking on her every few hours on Facebook but the truth is she is just dissolving. Losing this baby, that she was so excited for, is devastating.

Yet I knew -- I knew -- she would miscarry. I can't describe the certainty... but I seem to have this knowledge about women and their bodies. I knew OTW's babies would be girls, I predicted my neighbor's grandsons as well, as well as Caprice's youngest grandchild. And with my friend ... I knew she would miscarry. It was this horrible foreboding sense I had in my heart and my head and when she announced the pregnancy with such joy, I wanted to be able to protect her from what was going to happen. I answered her with guarded joy, hoping like nothing I was wrong... but I wasn't. Last night she went to the ER, and today she has passed clots and was bleeding heavily. I guess that means it's done... that the baby that was never to be will never be.

It's a foresight I wish I didn't have.
