It's been suggested that we leave a space between the start of a post and the triggering part.

Write something innocuous in the first line. then leave some spaces between in and the subject matter. this should take care of accidentally triggering someone.

DEM,
take the necessary steps to get some help. If you sick mentally then go to the er and if your physically sick do the same. OK?

do you wanna discuss whats terrifying you? or does it need to stay hidden away? I know i get like this sometimes too and its hard to break out of it.

what i know is that i have to do a lot of good self talk starting with the chances of whatever it is happening are slim to none.

90% of what we worry about never happens. thats a fact my t told me. it helps a lot.

you might try praying too

why do you always turn things around to you to be the victim?

just wondering? A little bit of tough love here because no matter what anyone ever says to you you turn it to be your fault that YOU always did something?!

You're only a victim if you allow it do you realize that? I know you have a really difficult time of it but are you doing anything to help; yourself?

I would really be interested in the things you do to help yourself?

I know i just wrote a rant and sometimes i'm not in my right mind but i really try to work hard on making my life different and choosing to do that Do i always succeed nO!@ Hell no! i don't.

take one small step and pat yourself on the back today and make a conscious effort to do ONE thing that will help your life be better quality like stopping the self degregation every time you write here. work on that for 30 days non stop and see if it helps you feel better ok?

DEM, I agree with Fran. If you can not afford care, they do have financial aid to write off medical bills.

I, too, tend to keep things hidden and find it hard to break out of this routine I've set for myself. But I am trying. The first thing is admitting you need help. The second is reaching out for help. The third is accepting help. It is a daily struggle but my coping mechanisms that used to help, no longer do and I no longer want to stay trapped in this circle. All you can do is try and if one method fails, try another, then another, and don't give up. If you slip up, reach out, I'm learning there are others who will help me get back up again and there are others who will help you if you let them.

Do not stop writing here because you feel your hurting us. We are here to support each other, help each other find other ways of coping we may not have thought of, or just to talk things out and have someone listen who understands.

Fran, how's the head this morning? The book I was reading is Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions. While I do not drink, this helps with other addictions like self-harm.

In Harmony,
Bonnie
