Write something innocuous in the first line. then leave some spaces between in and the subject matter. this should take care of accidentally triggering someone.

This should work.

It's lovely out.
If I could have one day and have that day be very windy and choose what I wished to be... I'd be a Kite and fly free...

Second the lovely out. It's just starting to cloud over with very, very thin high clouds here. Bonnie and I are quite close to each other geographically (well, considering the rest of the country!!) .

Bonnie, what's the forecast for you? They're still arguing over what will happen here weather-wise. Whatever it is, it is supposed to happen starting tomorrow. I hope it is a big snow storm.

Thank you BB... Lovely and Kate_Te I think will get the storm before me. Don't know why this is but it seems to be how it always works out.

They're saying that high tides will be 12 feet higher than normal.

That means there could be water at my front door, because the river I live right by (2 blocks away from) is affected by tides. I hope they're just blowing all of this out of proportion and it's not going to be much more than a windy, rainy day. We should get the brunt of it on Monday.

LLT-
Stay safe if it starts flooding. Here in Schenectady we're just supposed to get rain & gale force winds. (power outages). Got my essentials - now I'll just wait it out.
Hope you do get the snow you want.

read another post of yours. DO NOT fall asleep with your gas stove on to heat the place you could get aphyxiated. really you shouldn't use the gas stove at all for heat but if you do you might want to not have it on the whole time and only turn it on when you get really cold. if you start getting nauseated or sleepy..............turn it off! and open up the windows. This is very dangerous. Trust me i'm in the biz! of gas install, leaks etc. and this exact thing you're talking about ok.

i'm real worried about all my friends here and all my other friends onthe east coast. holy crap!

Just FYI, when we got hit by hurricane Ike, the city shut off the natural gas to all the houses and we didn't get it back for 3 weeks (we finally got sick of waiting and husband turned it back on himself). Hope that doesn't happen to y'all especially since a lot of homes are heated by natural gas but since BB brought up the topic I thought I'd give a heads up on that one (because I expected no power but didn't expect no natural gas).

Praying all of you are kept safe during the storm. Hurricanes SUCK!!!!!

Thanks OTW... This is a good warning...

During my 25 years of marriage, I lived without electricity, phone, etc... I lugged water from a dug well 300 feet away and yup, 3 walls and a tarp... many times scrapped ice off me... learned to cook and heat with stones. Thank god for my wolves and cat and other wildlife that I got to snuggle with. I learned to live off the land, harvest, preserve, burdock soup with wild carrots and leaks is awesome and healthy, blood purifer, vit a, etc... I even made my own tinctures, soap, etc... So do not fear for me...

Hugs,
Bonnie
