    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,
    WebMD Message Boards Management

It's been suggested that we leave a space between the start of a post and the triggering part.

Write something innocuous in the first line. then leave some spaces between in and the subject matter. this should take care of accidentally triggering someone.

both can help. are you seeing a pdoc for meds? are you in therapy? meds help fix the chemicals in our brains. therapy teaches us how to cope in ways that don't bring us down. doing fun things can help raise us out of the darkness. welcome to the board.

slik is right...sometimes it takes a combination of varying therapies. have you been trying other distractions? such as painting or listening to favorite music?

    and welcome

I would just say that there is a diffence between being sad & clinical depression (what you take meds for). We can't diagnose you. You need to see a doctor (preferably a psychiatrist) and let them diagnose you.
