    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,
    WebMD Message Boards Management

It's been suggested that we leave a space between the start of a post and the triggering part.

Write something innocuous in the first line. then leave some spaces between in and the subject matter. this should take care of accidentally triggering someone.

Hello Slik_kitty. I hope all is well. Being so hot, I tend to hybernate all summer. ugh...

    Hope all is well.

omg! finally! someone who hibernates in the summer like me! i do not handle the heat well.
    mandybutterflykiss replied to slik_kitty's response:

The heat, the sun, the humidity, and add in Allergies, how this all affects my health, lungs, etc... I'm usually a sick puppy from May thru September... Litterally, I'll have nausea, vomiting, my body temp will actually drop and I'll get chilled, I get sun poisoning, dizzy, weak and it's just horrid.

My ideal summer is 40 degree's, breezy, cool, partial sun, drizzle, rain... And I love winter, especially if the temps get near zero. But alas, Winter hasn't really hit here in 2 years. My ideal summer temps became winter temps.

Currently 80's, sunny, humid... plain sickening...

I hope you are able to find a good place to hibernate. I find the Maine Ocean helps.
