We have a stubborn baby!

So we had an ultrasound about 2 weeks ago to figure out if there was a problem or not due to excessive discharge. Baby was fine, but legs were crossed so we couldn't find out the sex. Then our big ultrasound was yesterday, but for the entire hour and 15 minutes the baby refused to let us see if it was a boy or girl. We get one final try on May 17th, but it will be a short ultrasound and the doctor said it was unlikely we'll find out before the baby's birth!!! So frustrating!! I SO wanted to find out, but at least baby is healthy and growing on track! =)

I keep assuming that we'll find out at our big u/s may 3rd but I guess it's definitely time to realize it may not happen. That's a bummer. But congrats on the healthy baby!

Eholdstein- I know what you mean... I keep assuming too, and ReneeErin- thanks for your post because it has made me realize that we may not find out Thursday... definitely helping me prepare for the possibility. :) But congrats on the healthy, though shy, LO!

I was certainly assuming we would find out! I think I would have been less disappointed if I had gone in thinking we might not find out!

Good luck! =)

I read somewhere that drinking a litle Mountain Dew before you go may make the baby more active. This might help you see what the sex is. Good luck.

I drank a little Dr. Pepper before I found out what my DS was. I think it's any caffeinated beverage. Just not too much of it. I have a super active LO so I hope he/she is still enough for us to see what it is when 5/6 gets here.. Lol
