I felt my LO around 14 weeks. Some people thinks I mistaken it for gas, but It didn't feel the same. I actually felt butterflies or fluttering feeling, that's not gas. I think every pregnancy and every woman is different. I think the average woman feels there baby movement by week 16 to 22. I found this on the internet on one of the baby sites. Hope this helps
When Will I Feel My Baby Kicking? You should feel your baby's first movements, called "quickening," between weeks 16 and 25 of your pregnancy. If this is your first pregnancy, you may not feel your baby move until closer to 25 weeks. By the second pregnancy, some women start to feel movements as early as 13 weeks. You're more likely to feel baby move when you're in a quiet position, either sitting or lying down.

I just started to and I'm 16 wks along... which is not typical since this is my first. I've noticed that it usually kicks at my seatbelt, when i'm sitting at my desk and my pants get snug, and right before i go to sleep. Between 16 - 25 wks is right and it really does feel like popcorn popping. LoL

I started to feel my LO around 13weeks, which is early even for a second child. I guess this child was in a rush to be noticed. lol

I am 17 weeks and do not think I have felt it yet. But since it is my first maybe it is just that I do not know. Hope to feel it soon. Very excited to know what it is like.

My books say 16-22 weeks. I swear I've felt the baby on an off, very faintly since 14 weeks since I've been feeling something I've never felt before. I definitely felt a movement this week- like someone running their finger along my tummy- but inside =)

I'll be 17wks on Monday. I started feeling the "fluttering" about 1-2 weeks ago, I guess approximately 15-16 weeks and today I felt someting new! Tonight I felt a much more distinct feeling, almost like a thumping and it happened a bunch of times!

I'm sure this is my LO (this is my first pregnancy)! I told DF (he was sitting right near me) and then he went to feel my tummy and I laughed! I told him I didn't think he is going to feel anything yet! lol. :)

When can you start feeling these movements from the outside?

ReneeErin replied to jenny8709's response:
I heard you can feel them from the outside by about 26 weeks... seems like a long ways away!!

My DH is able to feel our LO move from the outside and so am I. I'm 16w 5days today. All these later dates are starting to make me feel like I'm having twins but the all U/S just show one baby. I'm so confused!!

jenny8709 replied to williamswifey's response:
Is this your first LO?

I have heard and read that with subsequent pregnancies you can feel movement much earlier.

williamswifey replied to jenny8709's response:
No, this is my second LO. I have a DS age 6.

Depends where the placenta is...
I started feeling flutters at 16 weeks and kiscks at 18
I am 20 now ans you can't see them but my husband can feel it when he puts his hand on my belly. Mine is in the back.

My friend's is in the front and she felt absoloutly nothing until 22 weeks.

I started feeling the little flutters somewhere around week 15 but, they are in a different spot than with DS1... these ones feel more... in the back? like not right up against my belly button like it was with DS1- so they;re a little harder to detect, but definately there!...

...then again, I didnt lose all my "padding" that I had gained with DS1 so maybe they should be felt up front but Im just a little more cushion-y than before ... lol
