mommy_a posted:
Since we're all in or around our fourth month, I wanted to catch up on what we are all upto, pregnancy-wise

The only things I'm doing right now are:
- Stretches and pre-natal yoga (At home)
- A little walking on the treadmill now that I have some more energy than first trimester!
- A lot of reading my pregnancy books
- Eating well and drinking lots of water
- Of course monthly doc's appointments
- Taking it easy and avoiding all the bad foods/ lifting heavy things

What is everyone else upto pregnancy-wise?

- Annie, 15 weeks, first LO

I'm keeping it pretty basic also.

I'm walking half and hour on the treadmill, doing 20 mins on the stationary bike, I'm doing my best to eat good foods but I live in Philly and cheese steaks are AWESOME. The widwife appts every month are a constant. I drink a TON of water everyday. I've read all of my pregnancy books cover to cover already so I'm busy re-reading them. (I'm a loser, I know..and this is my 2nd LO) I am now crocheting a blanket for my LO. I love doing that cuz it gives my LO something special, handmade and heartfelt.

I am also making a few blankets for others that are pregnant right now. I think all babies deserve a handmade baby blanket. If anyone wants one made for their LO, shoot me an email and we can talk. mrsssrobertson@gmail.com

I want to get back to sewing so I can make something for the baby, but maybe next month? ha ha
Depending on what your plans are you might want to start looking at child care. My kiddo will be going to child care and where I live the waiting lists are 9 and 10 months long! You would have to practically get on the list because you DTD.... Anyhow, thought I would throw that out there if anyone had not thought about it yet.

Thanks for the childcare info! I've had my daycare set up since I found out I was pregnant. My son's old daycare provider (a home daycare that I ADORE) basically told me I was putting my new LO in her daycare. But you are absolutely right that now is the time to set that up.

I'm currently 15 weeks, 1 day -due 9/20. I feel great so I try to get to the gym 4 times a week. I usually do 45 mins of weight and 30 mins of cardio. I try to get to the powerflex weight class. I also do the river walk at our indoor waterslide park twice a week.

I try to eat healthy, but I have such bad sugar cravings I can't resist indulging half the time.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to May 5th to find out the gender of our baby. The first ultrasound at 14 weeks the sonographer was pretty confident it was a girl. Just hoping he is wrong becuase I really want another boy (besides having a healthy baby).

Ok, I am feeling so lazy now compared to yall. My exercising has consisted of walking back and forth to the bathroom, that bounce back of energy I keep reading about hasn't happened yet for me. Now that the weather is finally breaking here I do plan on walking in the evenings after work.

However I am currently:
- Going to my Drs Appts every 4 weeks
- Taking my Vitamins and trying to eat healthy
- Reading and Rereading pregnancy books
- letting DH spoil me rotten

Next doc appt tomorrow and I can't wait!

I'm just like you yamma20. At work i walk back and forth to the restroom, the copier, printer, and I also have to walk to pick up my daily mail from the doctor's office across the street besides that I don't do too much exercising. I have not gotten that energy boost everyone is talking about. Maybe it's from not doing much. I try to eat as healthy as possible all the fruit, yogurt (strawberry/banana), smoothies, salads, and soups I can eat. My next doctor's appointment is tomorrow and I will be 16 weeks. Hopefully they can give me some idea on what the baby sex may be.
