We should all be pretty close to knowing what we are having (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??) I am just wondering how yall are gonna spread the news. I have heard a ton about the boy / girl cakes. My parents live out of town but my In laws live about 15 minutes away. I want to do something fair for both so the in laws dont get an awesome suprise and my parents just get a phone call. What are yall gonna do or thinking of doing?

Im planning on doing homemade fortune cookies and the slips will say " your future holds a beautiful neice/ nephew/ grandson/...you get the idea...whatever we find out we are having" I want to dip some of the ends of the cookies in pink and some in blue and let my fam choose what they think we are having and then let the fortune prove them right or wrong.

We're planning on doing the gender reveal by way of our dessert!!! Yes, by cutting into a deeeelicious cake!! ... as in decorate it in neutral icing colours, and add either pink or blue food colouring to the batter so that when you cut into the cake, you will see either pink... or blue!

Not sure if Im actually going to bake it or leave it to the bakery, but that's what we're doing!!

Well, my mother is coming to the ultrasound, so I guess she'll find out with us My mother - in-law won't be there though. We offered but she had to work and didn't want to take the time off. I suppose since we're very impatient people, everyone will just find out by phone call

We're doing the gender cake as well. It should work out perfectly because the ultrasound should be right before Mother's Day weekend. We're planning to get both sides of the family together to celebrate Mother's Day and have the cake for dessert, with "Happy Mother's Day" written on it and blue/pink on the inside.

Also doing the cake idea. Found out it's a girl today and cake is being made for Saturday at a bakery, I just don't have the time to do it myself.

For my in-laws that are across the country, we are making a pink bear at build a bear and mailing it to her as a way to reveal the gender
