Issues with Husband's Libido

TryingtoLiveBetter posted:
Although we have 2 kids, my husband and I have almost no sex life. In the last 6 months, we've had sex 4 times (3 because of me). He would be fine with sex once every 3 months. I've typically initiated 95% of the time, but have started to lose interest in being the "go-getter" after 6 yrs of marriage. 2 yrs ago my husband had tests done that showed Free Testosterone levels of 11.8 (range 9-30) and Total Testosterone levels of 336 (range 240-950). The doctor agreed he was on the lower end of the range, but still within the norm so he felt nothing needed to be done (aka "he's normal"). Are these levels low enough to cause problems with libido? I'm wondering about what is at the root of our sex problems and how I am supposed to factor in helping fix it. I'm afraid this is going to drive me elsewhere if nothing is done about it, it has become that serious of a problem in our relationship and now affects other aspects, as I am disappointed and sometimes angry.

How is the rest of your relationship? Has he always had a low libido?

How busy is he? How stressed is he? How busy are you? How stressed are you?

What do you do to re-connect? Have you told him you resent having to initiate? By "go elsewhere" do you mean cheat, or break-up?
