    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Yesterday I had a routine pap smear done, and my doctor found a cervical polyp. She removed some of it to test, and told me there was still a little there. I had some light bleeding/spotting yesterday till this morning. I forgot to ask her at the time, when it would be safe for my boyfriend & I to have sexual intercourse. I feel fine down there, no cramping or whatnot

No guessing at this, be sure to call the docs office and ask. Even the nurse or medical person on staff should be able to help. You don't want to risk infection, so make sure you ask.
    Glad you are feeling fine!

I had one removed recently and I had really bad cramps for about a week after the removal and heavy bleeding for 3 weeks straight. I was wondering if you had any issues with sexual intercourse because I get a shooting pain down the left side of my cervix and stinging where the polyp was removed during orgasm. is this normal?
