late period, shouldn't be pregnant... help

MommyLuvs02 posted:
I am currently about one week late on my period, but my husband and I use condoms and none of them have broken... i don't FEEL pregnant like i did with my previous 2 kids, but i haven't taken a pregnancy test yet either... I'm scheduling an appointment with my doc sometime next week, but i'm hoping my period comes before then.

Why is it so late? Before my first child my period was irregular to the point where i might skip a whole month alltogether. but since then i've been fairly regular. the latest i've been prior to this (aside from before my 1st child) was about 3 days.

Could i be pregnant or could something else be wrong?

P.S. I'm not anymore stressed than i have been all year so that shouldn't be a factor...

1. Take a pregnancy test.

2. Realize that most women skip ovulation sometime during their reproductive years (and often more than once) and without ovulation there will be no menstrual period that cycle.
