Vaginal pain?

I've had a problem for years with pain inside my vagina. For example, I used to be able to wear super plus tampons. Now I can't wear any at all because the pain is too severe. Actually, it hurts just to have a period... even with nothing inside. The last time I went swimming, I could feel the water go inside me and even that was painful. I've had tests done. I had a laparoscopy to see if I had endometreosis, but it came back fine. Granted, the doctor was a moron and I wasn't on my period... so that might be a false negative. I've also had an internal and external vaginal ultrasound, which also came back fine. My OBGYN has done several exams and said there was no reason she could find for my pain. My pap smears have all been normal. I look perfect on paper, but that's NOT the case. For religious reasons, I'm saving sex until I'm married. But I'm very worried that I won't be able to have sex at all because it will hurt too badly. I have been fingered several times, but in each instance I asked the guy to stop because the pain was excruciating. That's not very promising, in my eyes. My only theory is that when I was very young, maybe 2 or 3, I was sitting on a dresser and I reached too far and I fell off and landed on an upturned chair, which went inside me. It was pretty much a disaster and I had to get stitches and everything. But if that was still effecting me today, wouldn't the doctors have found something? Wouldn't they see scar tissue or something? I don't know what to do! Has anyone heard of this? Does anyone have advice??
