    Viagra cost
    tcwind posted:
Been having trouble with ED for over 3 years. 52 years old, had a full physical a year and a half ago and no problems. Don't smoke or chew tobacco, quit alcohol cold turkey in Sept, not over weight (6' 185#), physically active job and go to fitness center at least 4 times a week.
In July last year my Dr. prescribed viagra. It works like a champion but HOLY COW, $180 for 6 pills! Down to 1 pill left and wife wanted to refill a couple weeks ago, now it's over $200 for 6 pills.
Anyone else have an issue with this? Having to spend that kind of money to have sex with my wife is NOT doing much for my libido.

Hi See if this helps, been through ED myself, and if you follow my posts, you will see that I two have had Viagra, but did not sit well with me, but if you go off and read these posts of mine, like me you can see my name is now, NOWHARD.
And do believe getting our blood working good is part of getting over ED.
If anybody wants to look just have a look at these posts, google DRUGS VERSUS HERBS, HERBS MY CHOICE, same title but just add DAILY INTAKE, NOHARDS HERB LIST WITH LINKS, and NOHARDS HERBS FOR ED, PART 2, there 3 to 4 links with most of them, so lots to read, you can take my mix as a guide to see if it works for you, but you can just add or subtract, one thing is I'm now off ginger, but still on the rest.
I do hope you find some help.
    Good Luck

Yeah, I know the feeling! I take Levitra, and its cost is enormous! I don't remember the exact amount, as this was a while ago, my doc. ordered a script of 15 pills, and I paid over $480 for them?! Rediculas??? Oh yeah!!!

I was told there were no Generic equivalent to Levitra, so, you get to pay for all of the science that goes into research and development of said pills! Yippee???

Its all a bunch of B.S., just so the Big Pharma can charge you whatever they like, and get away with it!!! Big Phama needs to be brought under control, but who will do it if our own government can't??? Our government is bought and paid for, and WE THE PEOPLE, ARE SCREWED!!!

    stevesmw responded:
My HMO has a preferred ED med. It was Levitra at $60 for 7 doses. When I was around 62 I started having ED issues and got a prescription of Levitra and would use it occasionally when I wanted to do some different positions. I was ok with missionary without anything. 5 years later I got it refilled, but it wasn't very effective. Anything other than the preferred was expensive. I got a free 30 day trial of Cialis and it worked better than Levitra except for the retrograde ejaculation.
About 6 months ago I refilled the Cialis and instead was sent sildenafil 20 mg which is generic Viagra. $20 for 40 tablets taken 5 at a time, There is a limitation 27 doses in 100 days.
It works about the same as Levitra and is dirt cheap.

I've tried all kinds of herbs and the only one that absolutely works is Horny goat weed. I take source natural at 6000 mg a day. Over the last year I've lost significant feeling in my penis and I get the feeling that my Penis will have expired by age 70. I need to lose weight and maybe can get of bp meds and turn things around.

Hi guys! I have a very good friend (we've been friends for over 30 years) and he also has an ED problem. He takes Cialis and his doctor gives him a script for the highest mg's so he only takes 1/4 of a pill to get him where he wants to be. He has a young wife (almost half his age). BTW we are such good friends that we are able to talk about anything and everything.

Good luck and erections to you all!!

    kramer1961 replied to bigred53's response:
That is very good advice Michelle. It does cut the cost. As for those evil pharmaceutical companies. They make products, and charge as the market allows.

Recently Pfizer had to cancel development of a failed drug, Torcetrapib. It cost them nearly a billion dollars and 10 years of development. Nobody was there to complain about their losses, they only complain when they profit from their long and expensive and risky labors.
    nohard replied to stevesmw's response:
Hi Steve, you say that you have tried all kinds of herbs, but have you ever tried a mix, I have had these reply's like yours on franktalk, all the same kind of answer, but none of them have ever tried a mix, I'm on 6 with a hormone, works great, can always get hard at anytime now, most of what I take is for the blood, keep your blood healthy and your get good erections.
    Good Luck
    billnjenn responded:
    Wow you are way overpaying.

Generic is available in other countries. Look into how to get it. Check your health coverage.

Herbals have been tested and at best have placebo effect at worst rip you off and make you sick. None actually work.

Or wait 6 years until the patent expires.

But you should be paying between 3 and 10 a pill not over 30, some drug store is getting rich on you.
    nohard replied to billnjenn's response:
Hi If you think herbs area rip off then getting generics from foreign countries is a good idea then you will get ripped off, big time, you could put them in your coffee as a sweetener.
So you keep saying herbs are a rip off yes, well I'm one person who will stand behind what I say, see Viagra did not work for me, just gave me high blood pressure, but herbs and a hormone worked wonders, its not down to just one herb, you need a mix, and each of are different, so the mix needs to be adjusted, then bingo, just as we were, sex anytime, the one thing Viagra wont do.
If you must put herbs down, get your facts right
    stevesmw replied to nohard's response:
I have BPH and a history of prostate cancer in my family so I am reluctant to take anything hormonal; prescription or herbal.

I've tried everything I've heard about and only two things have an absolute effect; horny goat weed 6000mg a day, and Yohimbe. I took 2000mg of Yohimbe once and has the strongest erection for a long time, but the side effects weren't worth it. A can tolerate 1000mg but would only consider taking it occasionally. I have no undesirable side effects with HGW and it clearly improves things. Cialas is the only ed med that works for me and I don't like the retrograde ejaculation. It is also too expensive for me considering the benefit. My HMO almost gives away generic Viagra, but it doesn't do enough.
    nohard replied to stevesmw's response:
Hi Steve go and look through these two you can google them.
If you go on then and go through the links, your find a lot of it is for blood, get your blood right, then that's the hard bit out of the way, but its not down to just one herb, you need a mix, and like all men were different so what I take may help to a point but for you need just something else.
Horny goat weed did nothing for me, and Yohimbe has so much warnings and bad side effects, so never went there.
But have a good read, most of then are there.
    Good Luck
