However, there is a secondary goal which interests me, which is trying to achieve a multiple orgasm.
I had one once when I was much younger, quite by accident. I had a small orgasm, but it suddenly stopped, and I didn't lose erection or desire, nor did I ejaculate so far as I know, although this was during intercourse. I then had a second and stronger orgasm with ejaculation.
Years later I did some research and discovered that men can do this if they have the strength in their PC muscle, and train themselves to prevent ejaculation while still having an orgasm. In this way, the release of prolactin is inhibited, and desire and erection are maintained, so that several, or I suppose even many orgasms are possible in one session.
I've been doing kegel exercises for two weeks now, and twice I've masturbated and attempted to stop ejaculation. Its been quite an interesting experience. My PC muscle is nowhere near strong enough yet. I'm aware that this often takes several months.
However, masturbating to the point just before orgasm, I clamp down on my PC muscle, and it immediately brings on a very intense orgasm before ejaculation starts. Its quite odd, because I'm used to being able to back off stimulation to prevent orgasm, but I've never used muscles to initiate it at will.
I am convinced at this point that if I can get my PC muscle strong enough, that I will be able to stop ejaculation and still have an orgasm, but it will have to be 3 or 4 times stronger than it is now, so it may take some time. Whether I'll be able to have a second orgasm though is the question.
I post this for curiosity's sake...more for the men I'm sure.

Women who have multiple orgasms with or without FE are also doing many of the same things you describe. I have been doing kegel exercises for several years and that's exactly how I first became multi orgasmic. Clamping down on my PC muscles brings about very intense orgasms and then when I release or push out with the same muscles, a flood of ejaculate is expelled. Mine is more of a gush of a lot of fluid rather than the "squirt" you hear so many talk about. I generally have several orgasms before I ejaculate and once I ejaculate, I'm worn out and can not go again. Only on rare occasion can I ejaculate a second time.
I have no reason to believe that men can't do the same thing because even though our genitalia is different, internally we are relatively the same if you think about it.
I think the key for you is whether you are going to be able to transfer what you do during masturbation to what you do during intercourse with your wife--especially since you have said before that she does have multiple orgasms and does have FEs as well. One of the things that I have noticed with my husband is that sometimes he orgasms after my orgasm has started. This is especially true if he feels the contraction of my muscles against the head of his penis. I have tried opening my legs further when I start to orgasm to cut down on the friction on his head but when I do that, the force of my orgasm if it's really intense will literally push his penis out and then I have a FE because it's harder to control with my legs really wide. It doesn't seem to faze him now and he goes right back in and then he can orgasm. At first though, it used to ruin his orgasm because he didn't know what to think.
I think masturbation is a lot different because you don't have to deal with what the other person is doing as far as their orgasm. I do think though that the stronger your erection is, the more you will be able to deal with what your wife is doing when she orgasms and then you can have multiple orgasms of your own. I could be wrong but that's my theory.

Riding the wave is a very real thing and I have experienced it in rudimentary form but not in full control. Those who have mastered this say that they enter a new world of pleasure that makes their former life of enter and shoot feel like kindergarten in comparison. Good luck to you man. Would like for you to post your findings so that us men can follow your successes and instructions.
Maybe we should both get a copy of that book.
My primary purpose though is to strengthen my erections. At 54, I'm having difficulty getting and maintaining them without viagra.
My impression so far is that if I'd been able to repress my ejaculation that my orgasm would have been short but quite intense, stronger than many I've had with ejaculation, but its really too soon to judge. Given my issues, I'll be anxious to see if I'm able to go for at least a second round.
What happens now is that I get an intense orgasm, but ejaculation starts, and my efforts to stop it only stifle the orgasm that comes as a result of the ejaculation itself.
That ejaculatory response is very powerful, so its no wonder that this isn't commonly done.
BTW, you said that you've known a number of people who've been successful, but my search online hasn't found anyone who speaks from actual experience, except perhaps yourself.

For now, I'm still a ways away from success.

Still, its good work if you can get it.

I think one of the reasons orgasm is so much more predictible with masturbation is that you don't have the "surprise" element of stimulation from your partner. We kind of got a good laugh about it a couple of nights ago when we had intercourse. Even though I was on top in reverse cowgirl, he started thrusting in a different way than I expected and the orgasm snuck up on me so fast that instead I clamped down and held my breath (it really did take my breath away) and he ended up having his orgasm in about 2 seconds because I had a strong grip on the head of his penis at that point. It was a powerful orgasm but I kind of wished we could have continued on for longer! He claimed I squeezed it out of him
I still can't believe he orgasmed so fast considering that he normally has delayed orgasm. You really couldn't help but laugh afterwards. Donna
He does ejaculate at least twice of the 3 to 5 times. I have found that since the sensitive part of his penis (soft underside just under the tip) does not get overly sensitive so he lets me continue, thus enabling the subsequent orgasms. I can tell by the amount of ejaculate released determines how many more will follow. First and last have the most. Usually the second has little to none released.
He had never heard of others able to attain this ability and was pleasantly surprised when it occurred the first time. Hence my internet search and finding your post.
I don't believe he does anything special with muscle control or clamping down. He is just not overly sensitive after the first and lets me continue.
Hope this helps. Good luck in this endeavor.

For whatever is worth, I workout regularly and eat healthy. I have always been active. I also, make love to my wife almost every day and we have been married for almost 16 years and we have known each other for about 19.
