Anyone had a penile implant

Looks like I'm recommended for a penile implant, and I want to know if anyone else on here has had one, or knows someone who has had one, and the pro's and con's. There are 2 types, and which type is the best and why. I've been thru Viagra, Cilias, etc., and DR says this is the recommendation.

Youi might want to post this over on one of the men's boards. There were a couple of guys who had implants.

Good luck to you.

Yes, I had one two years ago. Best thing I ever did. I only wish I had done it years earlier. The recovery is not too bad and the results make it all worth while Mine is an AMS three piece inflatable and this is the only way to go. You will never lose an erection again! Four hour erections - no problem!!! My insurance (Blue Choice) covered it 100% My wife loves it and says it feels perfectly normal.

Go to penileimplant.blogspot.com to read stories and see pictures of guys that have had implants. This site helped me to make up my mind to have the surgery. Sure glad I did!

Have you ever had to go throught airport security, the reason
for the question.. My wife had knee replacement, every time
she is stopped because of the metal in her knee. I was
wondering if this would happen if the inplant was done..
I think this would be a little embrassing for me .

My surgeon said that it would alert security. I think it would be comical; however, have not had that experience yet.

Hi , I am doing the same research you are.. I have had a prostatectomy and implant is prescribed.. can you please share your experience and experiences?? I am a bit sceptical as my urologists said that I had 90% that I would have full recovery.

I don't know that there is any metal in the AMS 700 MS series. I haven't gone thru an airport tho.
