finally found a fix for premature ejaculation

So for years I like many other have been dealing with the embarassing issue of premature ejaculation. I have tried creams, sprays, as well as several different medicines. I finally have found a way I have been able to deal with it just an example last night i had the most amazing sex ever for 43minutes, and we stopped because SHE was tired not because i was done!!!

Like many people i tried paxil and a few others to help deal with PE. For me this did not work out because, i had to take them every day and i had some terrible side effects. Plus it got to the point where i couldn't ejaculate at all and didn't even want to have sex. Anyway I went to a new doctor last week, and I am feeling great.

He prescribed me 50mg tramadol. It is a pain killer, but not the killer kinds like vicodin or percocet. With tramadol I am able to have refills without having to go back to the dr. I also had no bad side effects strong pain killers used to give me. LIke the sleepy feeling, nausia, ect.

Anyway he said some of his patients have had success using tramadol about 30 min prior to sexual intercourse. He said try one pill at first until you figure out how much you will need. Just a back round, I was so bad, that sometimes i would ejaculate before i was even fully erect.

Well, I have had sex 3 times this week and all 3 times lasted over 30 minutes. It was awesome. The tramadol did not make me feel "messed up or high" it just delayed my climax. I didn't feel groggy, or sleepy, nor did i have any kind of withdrawls the next day like the hell i went through when i stopped taking the paxil for PE.

Tramadol might not be for everyone, but if you were like me and have tried all the rest, you have to atleast give it a shot. I only take it before i am going to have sex and no other times. by doing it that way you dont build a tolerance for it so you only have to take a small amount every time you have intercourse. I swear im the happiest man on earth right now and i hope if you guys are feeling down, ask your dr about it. It wasn't as embarassing as i thought it would be and it was worth the look on my girlfriends face after I basically wore her out.

I have to say I have had the same success with Tram. I got it for pain reliefe after knee surgery. I usually take 2 50gh pills but I tend to have a very high tolerance to pills in general.

It doesn't get you high but it gives you controll. I haven't actually talked with my Dr about this, the whole embaresment thing, but I have had them refilled a few times because I actually do have back problems. Does doubel duty.

My one problem is timing, I hate taking them thinking I am going to have sex with my wife and then have it not happen. Feels like a waste.

it seems for me 2 50mg pills is the sweet spot. I did notice on the pill bottle it says tramadol could be abused, so if anyone has had problems with addiction in the past i wouldn't recommend taking these. They do not give you that high feeling, but still.

I just used two more tonight and same results..This is like the wonder drug. No man should have to suffer when there is helpfull medicine out there. I was on paxil for PE and it was horrible. The side effects were bad, and the withdrawal when i stopped taki8ng it was a nightmare. So far i haven't had any side effects with the tramadol..Just prolonged sexual experience.

My dr. was really cool about it, and i just came out and told him. He was happy to write me the script with 3 refills..My relationship has improved 100 times over because instead of shy'ing away from showing effection i start initiating now.

I wish a Dr. on here could read this post and see if other people have had the success i have had with tramadol. I dont know why everyone isn't taking it..I hate taking medicine, like i said pain killers make me sick,,,but these are different.i hope my experience helps out someone..Get your ass to the Dr. and have the talk. More men then not have some sort of issue with PE but are afraid to talk about it. 10 minutes of being uncomfortable for 40 min sex sessions with the lady's . Not too mention she will tell all her friends you are a sex machine..lol

OK guys, I have to tell you all something. Tramadol is also known as Ultram. It is an addictive drug. Now I know all too well that most docs don't believe this. But I have also known at least 10 people in the past 2 years that were hopelessly addicted to it. It's not called an opiate, but it is called an opioid, or opioid like drug. Whatever you call it is meaningless when you're hooked on it. And I've been told that the withdrawal symptoms are just as bad as with regular opiates. So what do you do? Just this.

You can use it to prevent PE, just don't use it often. And if you like the way it makes you feel so much that you start to take some just to feel good, then stop immediately, and throw the rest away. I'm not telling you guys to not use it for PE if it helps that much. But I am warning you it is addictive and if you were to take it everyday you will get hooked on it and have a problem getting off it. So a word to the wise is sufficient. I hope you guys are wise enough to not get hooked on it.

agree with your post. I only take it for sex and thats it. Like i said before , for me it was so bad, that im actually afraid to build up a tolerance to it because it is workig so well. Like any drug, too much is not good for you. Like i said before i only have just started taking it the past two weeks. I used two pills each time , and it was 6 times so far. Only one time the nights were back to back the rest were scattered over the two week period. I have got to say I haven't had any withdrawal symptoms at all. I dont think i am gonig to have any either, unless im lucky enough to have sex every day for 2 weeks straight.

If anyone here gets the script and it helps them and then they abuse the drug instead of using it as directed they are idiots. The only alternative for me was paxil, and like i said before the side effects were horrible, and if you guys wanna see some bad withdrawals..watch someone come off paxil..lol..it was hell.

Now that i have been prescribed the drug, i googled it for treatment of PE and i get tons of hits on it. When i was searching before, i couldn't find anything.

Anyone else have postitive experiences using it? My girl just called me from work telling me she is sore..haha..I knwo for some of you that doesn't sound good..but to go from minute man to sex machine..im on cloud 9.lol..

Being a woman, I've never used Tramadol for PE (haha), but was prescribed it before for tension headaches and must say I had no problem with addiction to it. Just like you, I took it on an as-needed basis and not every day. Also I know that I am the type of person who is very strong-willed and wouldn't easily get addicted to anything (even chocolate or caffeine) so I may not be the norm...but I was very happy with the drug and didn't have any "high" feeling either or drowsy or anything.
Cheers!

I Hva ehad good results. I haven't actually had the discussion with my Dr but just get refills becaus I have used it for back pain.

While I'm sure it's possible to get addicted to it, it's doesn't get you high (or at least it didn't get me high) and since I don't get high from it I don't see a whol lot of point in taking it other than for sex (or pain reliefe). I wish I was having enough sex to worry about it.

I don't think it's good to take Tramadol from premature ejaculation considering that it is a painkiller. All the medicines are developed for certain reasons and mixing their use is not good, especially without specialist's control.
Thank God, I have no such issue, but in your place I'd look for another fixing solution.

Painkillers for curing premature ejaculation. That is something completely unexpected to hear. It cannot be good in the long run. I hope it is like a one time thing for those who are indeed trying to go down this route - I would definitely not take a pain killer every day to solve premature ejaculation problems.

alaska_mommy replied to NYchameleon's response:
Tramadol is a very mild painkiller. I got about the same effect on taking it as taking 2 extra strength Tylenol. I don't think there's any danger with this. People take other kind of drugs for their "off-label" use, like taking Benadryl to help you get to sleep.

NYchameleon replied to alaska_mommy's response:
Why do you think that it is good when people use drugs not for the purpose they are prescribed?
I consider this is very wrong. Of cause there are such stories like Viagra may treat infertility; helped woman to become pregnant. or The 20-month-old girl kept alive by Viagra however it is not right to take whatever you like when you want to, withour doctor's suggestion.

Let's not forget that Viagra was originally developed as a heart drug. It started to be prescribed for erectile issues when doctors learned from their patients of the unexpected side effects that it had ...

alaska_mommy replied to NYchameleon's response:
And, if you read the OP, he was prescribed Tramadol for PE.

NYchameleon replied to alaska_mommy's response:
ok, he was prescribed Tramados but after : "Anyway I went to a new doctor last week, and I am feeling great."
Do you know which marks that new doctor got in school?

You see, If I got an headache and one doctor prescribes me linctus for it, I'd become very doubting and before using it (and suggesting everyone to use linctus for headache), would look for a consultation of another doctor at least.
