    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Girlfriends comment that my erections are harder than most - Why?

    cmw1979 posted:
Several of my girlfriends have commented that my erections are harder than those of other guys they have been with. I don't view this as a bad thing but was wondering why. I have heard this could be related to good circulation. I am active and eat well so that would make sense.

I just assumed that most guys were pretty much the same when hard but I guess not. I am 32 years old and just as hard as when I was a teenager. I haven't compared with other guys of course so I don't know exactly how the hardness scale goes.

I have been told this several times now and am wondering why. It sounds like I am in better health, sexual and otherwise, than most guys my age. I am amazed that there are guys in their late 20's-early 30's already having problems with ED. I have been reading that this could be related to early heart disease so that is no good.

Size can be a factor in "hardness" The really big penis' don't get as hard as more average ones according to women that worked in porn.. Erections demand and lot of blood flow. Of course Viagra may have changed that a bit.

Most likely your fitness and healthy eating habits contribute significantly to your erections. As you mentioned, good circulation is needed for firm erections

keep up the good health habits and you should have good wood for a long time to come - if you do start to have problems - considering you are 32 and no problems yet - make sure you get checked out real well.

He was stroking the ego a bit, and perhaps should have posted that over on mens sexual issues.
That is, if he was seeking advice and comparisons ?

I believe he's posted this same thing before on this board...or maybe elsewhere, can't remember where I saw it.
