** Can I still get pregnant after taking PlanB?**
    An_243818 posted:
I had sex with my man before and after taking PlanB.. I got nausea a day after sex and a light period a couple of days after the unprotected sex.. Can I be pregnant? Can people get pregnant after taking PlanB whether they had sex or not..?? Whats the chances that a woman does get pregnant after taking PlanB? What are the side effects of PlanB? What are the symptoms of being pregnant?
    Chris_WebMD_Staff responded:
    Hi Anon,

Deep breath. The only way to know if you are pregnant is with a pregnancy test. Plan B is not 100% but if taken as per the directions then it works as well as it can.
If you are still concerned take a pregnancy test.

Life is too short, so kiss slowly, laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly.

To add to what Chrissy said, Plan B protects you against pregnancy from sex that has already happened NOT from sex you have after taking it.

Please consider getting on regular birth control as Plan B is nowhere near as effective as it is.
There's nothing inherently dirty about sex, but if you try real hard and use your imagination you can overcome that.

    ok thanks!
