Normal...happens to me too. For us it was not a factor in getting pregnant...the way the woman's body is set up is perfect for baby-making. When a woman is aroused, the uterus pulls up a little bit and makes the vagina longer, and the man ejaculates right next to the cervix. Then after orgasm the uterus drops back down into the pool of sperm waiting there...yup, perfection. So not to worry. Although some women stay laying on their back with their rear propped up to keep the sperm in there longer. How long you been trying?

Your husband's semen comes out because that's what it's supposed to do and that's exactly what happens to everyone. It's not supposed to stay inside you. It only takes one single sperm to make a baby and there are millions in one ejaculate.

How long have you been trying? If it's been over a year then you (and your husbnad) need to see your doctor to find out why. Most doctors won't see you until you've been trying for a year.

I don't know where you get your info alaska_mommy. If what you are saying is true, how would you account for the women that manage to get pregnant despite not having an orgasm? Orgasm and even arousal has absolutely nothing to do with getting pregnant (although it doesn't hurt your chances either).

To the OP: Listen to FCL--she's absolutely right. There are millions of sperm in one ejaculation and it only takes one sperm to get pregnant. The purpose of the semen is to transport the sperm to the right place and once that's accomplished, gravity makes the semen leak back out. This generally doesn't happen until the man withdraws from your body anyway which is usually after he's lost his erection. By that time, the sperm are long gone up to your fallopian tubes.

I may not have put it quite right...going off of memory of something I heard a speaker say about it...but it sounded right. Maybe the orgasm is not necessary though. Plus, sperm can still get up into the cervix even if the woman's not aroused, I think what I was talking about just makes it more advantageous for pregnancy.

If you are trying to get prego, and the sperm comes out as you say and I know it does. Then my answer would be to have hubby leave his penis burried in you as long as it will stay plugging your vagina, and giving the sperm a chance to start there way to an egg. Just a helpfull hint. After his ejaculation leaving it in longer instead of pulling out right away, also smooching and telling each other how much you love one another for an extended time can have many positive results in its own. Lots of luck, hope your dream comes true, soon.
